ASUS is one of the largest manufacturers in the gaming sector. And of course there’s plenty of new ROG hardware too. We present you some highlights.
ASUS has shown three new notebooks from this series. The smallest model is the ROG Zephyrus G14. In 2020 we tested the first model and were quite enthusiastic. The 2023 model comes with a Mini LED display with QHD resolution and 165 Hz. The aspect ratio is 16:10, so there is plenty of space to work. There is also a version with a Full HD display and 144 Hz refresh rate. By the way, the display is Pantone-validated and therefore offers accurate colors. The infrared webcam for video conferences is being upgraded and will in future have Full HD resolution.
Inside, a Ryzen 9 (Zen 4) and an Nvidia Geforce RTX 40 graphics card with a maximum of 125 watts ensure decent performance for gaming and working. Unfortunately, ASUS is silent about the exact connections. The only info: There is a USB-C port with DisplayPort 1.4 and PowerDelivery, which can be used for charging with 100 watts. Information on RAM and storage is also missing.
Then there are two larger models, the G16 and the M16. Both are equipped with a Core i9-13900H and of course also come with the latest generation of Nvidia graphics cards. The M16 is allowed a maximum of 145 watts, the G16 is limited to 120 watts TGP. The displays are both in 16:10 format. The M16 offers QHD resolution, Mini LED and 240 Hz with a response time of 3 ms. There is no further information about the display for the G16.
In terms of connections, in addition to the USB-C port for charging, there is also a reference to Thunderbolt 4. Unfortunately, ASUS does not reveal how often this interface is installed. Too bad actually. But there is still information about the webcam. Like the G14, the M16 is equipped with an infrared camera with Full HD, the G16 has to make do with an IR camera with 720p.
Unfortunately, ASUS has not yet specified the availability or the price for all three notebooks.

Daniel recently reviewed the current model of gaming tablet. Of course, the new edition gets stronger hardware. Again, the Intel Core i9-13900H is the CPU of choice and there is also an RTX 40 graphics card. Unfortunately, ASUS does not reveal which variants are available. The weight is just 1.1 kilos. The 13″ display comes with QHD resolution, 165 Hz and an aspect ratio of 16:10.

Unfortunately, there is no information about the SSD and RAM. But the info that the 15″ full-size keyboard is removable and there is Thunderbolt 4. To unlock you can use Windows Hello and face recognition via the Full HD camera.
Here, too, unfortunately, ASUS does not provide any information on availability and price.
