The official launch of the three LG UltraGear will be in September and the displays seem to be the best of the best.
LG had already presented the three monitors in the UltraGear series in May. Now follows the (late) official confirmation for Europe / Germany. Starting in September, gamers with deep pockets can choose between the 32GQ950, 32GQ85X and 48GQ900.
The LG 32GQ950 and LG 32GQ85X are nano IPS displays. The Q85X has a 1440p resolution and can reach up to 260Hz, while the Q950 uses 4K and can reach up to 160Hz. Both have Advanced True Wide Polarizer technology, thanks to which colors should be displayed realistically.

But the highlight is clearly the LG 48GQ900. The 48″ is more of a small TV with gaming monitor branding. It is also a 4K monitor. The maximum refresh rate here is 138Hz. In addition, all three UltraGear monitors have a four-pin headphone jack for gaming headsets, surround sound from DTS Headphone:X and HDMI 2.1.
LG UltraGear 2022 do not have official German prices yet
At the moment, LG has not yet given any information on what the individual UltraGear monitors should cost. If we look around on LG’s American website, we see that the 48GQ900 costs $1,299 there – without taxes. For the 32GQ950, 999 dollars are called there.
So the fun will probably not be cheap with us either. But we are also talking about absolute high-end gaming monitors. We’re currently making internal decisions about which of us can test the LG OLED, although the editorial interest in the nano-IPS displays is also great. Which of the three LG UltraGear monitors excites you the most?
