More than a year after we met the OPPO A16, a smartphone that would end up arriving in Spain just a few months later, we meet its successor in the cheapest range of the brand the OPPO A17.
This new terminal has been officially launched in Singapore and, pending confirmation, it may end up reaching other territories in the coming months. Also, follows the same lines as its predecessor with the same Mediatek brain and a high-capacity battery. We review these and other of its main features below.

Helio G35, double camera and a great battery with a big ‘but’
We started talking about a design in which the flat edges in the terminal, with a front starring its 6.56-inch IPS display with more pronounced bezels towards the bottom and a front camera in drop format. On the back, a material that imitates leather and a double camera, each in its own package. All this in blue or black (with no trace of the orange that had leaked yet).
Returning to the screen, it has a standard refresh rate of 60Hz and one HD+ resolution. Nothing remarkable in these points, although not a surprise if we take into account that this is a smartphone aimed at the cheapest range on the market.
As the brain of everything we find a Helio G35 by Mediatek a chip accompanied by a 4 GB RAM single configuration. For the internal storage of the device we also find a single option of 64GBalthough expandable via microSD card.
One of lime and one of sand for the battery. And it is that we find a 5,000mAh capacity that promise to give good autonomy to the terminal. However, we find a Micro-USB port which does not exactly play in favor of finding a fast charge in this OPPO A17.
As far as photography options are concerned, we find a 5 megapixel selfie camera. On the back, we see that this A17 has lost a lens compared to the A16, having a 50 megapixel main camera which is accompanied by 2 megapixel depth sensor.

As we said before, for the moment this device has only been launched in Singapore. Doing the currency conversion to euros, we get that your single 4+64 GB configuration it would cost around €145.95. If it arrives in Spain, this figure will probably vary depending on other factors, but it helps us to get an idea of the range in which it is found.
