New Poco smartphones will be presented in exactly one week. The company announces that the Poco X5 and X5 Pro will appear on that day.
Poco X5 (Pro) presentation on February 6
The Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro see the light of day on February 6, the manufacturer announced on Twitter. The smartphones will be unveiled next Monday and follow last year’s Poco X4 Pro. The presentation can also be followed online.
Because Poco is talking about a ‘global launch‘, we expect that the telephones will eventually also appear in the Benelux. The Poco X5 and X5 Pro probably fall back into the mid-range segment and have already surfaced in rumors several times. As a result, most specifications are already known.

The expected specifications
In recent weeks, some things have been leaked about the Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro. The Pro version is expected to have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate of 120Hz and full HD resolution (2400 by 1080 pixels). The regular Poco X5 would also have a 6.67 inch screen.
The Poco X5 Pro is probably a lot faster than its predecessor. Under the hood is probably a Snapdragon 778G processor. This chip is more powerful than the Snapdragon 695 of the Poco X4 Pro and supports 5G internet. The regular X5 may have the ‘SD695’ again.
Furthermore, the Poco X5 Pro would be equipped with a 108 megapixel main camera with an 8 megapixel wide-angle lens and 2 megapixel macro camera. The battery must be 5000 mAh and can charge with a maximum of 67 Watts, according to leaked information. Wireless charging is not included.
It is unknown what the Poco X5 and X5 Pro will cost. The Poco X4 Pro was released last year with a suggested retail price of 299 euros. A version with more working and storage memory also appeared for 349 euros.
