WhatsApp continues to work on the development of the new functionality that allows you to create and share surveys to the users of a group of the instant messaging application and has increased its available options to twelve.
This new feature has been in a state of development since at least last March. Shortly after, WhatsApp started the first tests of a new interface for group surveys on iOS.
Now, the specialized portal WABetaInfo has confirmed that the messaging network is still working on this functionality. Thanks to it, the participants of a group will be able to create surveys and share them with the rest of the members.
For it, WhatsApp will show you the option ‘Poll’ along with other items they can share in a group, such as documents, images, or audio. The user will be able to add up to twelve different options to his particular survey, and not five as in the first tests in the Apple operating system.
The medium has discovered this feature, which is still under development, in version 18.104.22.168 of the beta of WhatsApp for Android. However, the portal has recalled that the function will also end up reaching the beta of the app for both iOS and its desktop version. (EuropePress)
